Hey check this one out! It's beautiful!
Difficulty: Easy
pets: with leash on trail
To the big city,
Where it's nice and windy
Park in the lot,
And hope there's a spot!
Take the main trail
Where the man holds his dog by a tail
Go over the hump and to the left
To the bench, but don't rest yet
Head down to the ocean and to the square,
Off to your right the Golden Gate is there!
Enjoy for a moment the crashing wave
And look behind you at the tree cave.
Look for the sideways tree where,
Underneath it you'll find me there!
Good luck, let me know if you have any troubles.

Woo Hoo! Another Bay Area box to find (although I'm still recovering from jaymez's Castle Rock box! - this one looks a bit more manageable)
Funny thing is that I was in SF yesterday thinking that I should put together a "Playland" letterbox out at Ocean Beach (it's a defunct amusement park that was once out there) with Laughing Sal as the stamp - she was the creepy animatronic clown that welcomed you to the Fun House. But you beat me to it!

OMG! Laughing Sal?! Playland at the Beach?! You must be about my age! The
fondest memories of my childhood were spent there where my Uncle Gus won
every stuffed animal I ever owned. My mom and I used to sit in our '48
Packard and watch the people come out of the It's It parlor and the
Fascination hall and make up funny stories about them.
Those were the days. . .

I think they've just temporarily moved Laughing Sal and the rest of
the musee mechanique down near the pier 39 touristy stuff. (Also if
anyone is looking for the Cliff House NPS stamp it's also been moved
to Fort Funston during the renovations) I LOVE It's Its!
